Improving drinking water quality with ultrafiltration and UV treatment

Problem

A Scandinavian municipality was facing issues with its drinking water quality. The water had a relatively high iron and manganese content, along with fairly high turbidity. As a result, the drinking water was discoloured and had an unpleasant taste.

Solution

Logisticon provides a containerized ultrafiltration (UF) installation with the following specifications. The system has a capacity of 30 to 50 cubic meters per hour. Additionally, it includes UV after-treatment to further disinfect the water.
