Surface water purification with Lamella separation, UF & RO 5000 m3/day for Kisuma Veendam NL

Kisuma in The Netherlands contracted North Water for delivery of process water on basis of surface water from the channel A.G. Wildervanck. The installation for North Water has been designed and built by Logisticon Water Treatment in co-operation with her civil partner Jorritsma for the buildings. The extension of the existing installation has a capacity of 5000 m3/day demin water.

The purification goes via cascade aeration, 3x flocculation, 3x  lamella-separation, 8x ultra filtration installations (of which 4 existing and 4 new), 8 reverse osmosis installations (of which 4 existing and 4 new), degasification, storage and distribution. The installation is completed with chemical storage and -dosing, automatic CIP-cleaning unit and process control.

Water purification contributes to savings on the required polymer

IAt the end of 2019, Logisticon Water Treatment started building a water treatment plant as part of an installation that produces large-scale polymer. The required polymer production water is pumped from the pump skid placed near the river through the water purification of Logisticon to the water buffers of the polymer production installation. The river water intake point consists of two pumps that can pump 200 m3 / h.
