Ultra Pure Water for NieuWater project NAM

Logisticon Water Treatment has built for NieuWater (a joint venture between Waterleidingmaatschappij Drenthe (WMD) and  Water Board Velt & Vecht) a double pass RO-installation including chemical storage and dosing for 9 different chemicals for production of Ultra Pure Water (UPW) in combination with CEDI. The plant will produce 10.000 m3 ultra pure water per day in 5 rows of approx 115 m3/h each. The final water quality is <0,1 µS/cm and 10 ppb SiO2.

The Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) is re-developing the oil field of Schoonebeek by injection of steam to fluidize the oil. The steam will be supplied by the new Co-gen plant. The boiler feed water that is needed will come from a new Ultra Pure Water (UPW) plant. The raw water source is tertiary sanitairy wastewater from the city of Emmen and will be polished up to UPW. The part Logisticon is supplying consists of 5 double pass RO trains polished with electro-deionisation (EDI) supplied by PWT. The production facility was officially opened by His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange Willem-Alexander.

Logisticon builds surface water pilot for Dunea

Dunea is looking for new drinking water sources because their current system, consisting of two river water sources (Maas and Lek) with 80 km of pipelines towards the dunes, is becoming increasingly vulnerable. Pollution is lurking and prolonged dry periods mean there is little river water available for drinking water purposes. Besides, the long pipelines have to be removed increasingly to accommodate other plans, which makes them temporarily unavailable.
