Logisticon provides temporally waste water treatment solution

At the end of 2019, a food company specialised in the refining of edible oils was confronted with the departure of the neighbouring company that was relocating its activities. Together these companies had a shared wastewater treatment plant ( wwtp).

With the announced departure, the wwtp would also close. Our customer was informed that there would be a short transition period before the treatment would be closed definitely. Something had to be done.

This sudden problem made it a logical choice to look for a rental installation in order to avoid costly downtime in production. Logisticon Rental has lots of experience in the field of oil/ fat and water separation and was therefore approached to help solve this problem. After an inventory and laboratory tests, a treatment plant was proposed consisting of coagulation and flocculation, after which the separation takes place in a classic DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) installation. After this treatment, the purified water can be discharged.

Due to adequate actions by Logisticon Rental, an installation could be delivered and put into operation on time, which prevented the customer having to shut down production. In addition, Logisticon supports the customer in business operations by remotely monitoring the installation.
