Chemical company Organik Kimya Netherland BV, located at the appropriate Chemieweg 7 in Rotterdam, specialized in making polymers as a basis for paints and lacquers. In 2019, Organik Kimya asked if Logisticon Water Treatment could help them with the realization of a new, larger , modernized treatment plant. The old treatment plant had a too small capacity and was also located in a container that was too small to be able to carry out proper maintenance.
Logisticon developed new treatment plant with a larger capacity and placed it in a building with sufficient space for adequate maintenance. The installation consists of a number of reaction tanks, in which iron chloride, caustic soda and flocculant are dosed. In addition, the sludge is separated from the water by means of a strain press, after which the dried sludge is poured into two containers through a distribution system. The innovative chemical installation has been built entirely satisfactorily in accordance with the applicable BRL guideline.
The result is a nice reference project with the right chemistry between Logisticon and Organik Kimya.
