Ceramic membranes
Cerafiltec is a manufacturer of high-performance alumina-based ceramic plate membranes (Al₂O₃). These robust membranes are available in NSF61 and NSF419 versions and come in a Noryl chemical and saltwater resistant casing.
The modular design allows the systems to be easily scaled up. One module contains 6 m² of membrane area, and towers can be built up to 16 modules high and with the possibility of multi-tower configurations.
The filtration process works from outside-in, efficiently removing solids via cake filtration. Due to the high tolerance for suspended solids, minimal pretreatment and coarse pre-filtration are already sufficient.

Optional treatments such as coagulation, PAC dosing (e.g. for PFAS), ozone injection and DAFF can be easily integrated.
