On Wednesday, April 17, Logisticon opened its doors to enthusiastic grade 7 students from five elementary school in Groot-Ammers, Nieuwpoort/Langerak and Streefkerk.
Logisticon Water Treatment was one of the eight participants in the Techniekroute (Technology Route) at Industriepark Gelkenes, the largest industrial park in municipality Molenlanden. At Logisticon, the students learned about water quality and were allowed to purify water themselves. An experience that aroused their curiosity.
The Techniekroute not only offers a look behind the scenes of local companies, but also inspires the next generation to consider a career in engineering. It is great to see how Logisticon's efforts, among others, are appreciated by the youth and the community. This year was the fifth time that Logisticon participated in the Techniekroute and as a thank you for this, alderman Piet Vat presented a shield for Regional Career Company during a networking lunch. This recognition ensures continued motivation and commitment to education and the job market in the region.
