Logisticon stops using natural gas!

The expansion at Logisticon is in full swing. The year started with the installation of a new portal crane on the new outdoor area at Ambachtsweg 34. After installing the outdoor lighting and finishing the street work, the outside area is completed. The renovation of the office building will start in week 6, this will last until September 2021. In addition, in week 20 a start will be made on the construction of the new industrial hall between Energieweg 2 and Ambachtsweg 34.

After the renovation, Logisticon will operate completely without natural gas, both in the office and in the production area. These are also provided with full cooling systems. In addition, the ventilation will be higher than the building regulations, which ensures greater comfort and a better indoor climate. The rating of the electricity connection has also been increased to ensure that the heat pumps can function properly. The energy label of the office will be Label A or better after renovation and thus more than complies with the legislation of 2023 (Label C or better). Furthermore, the energy monitoring and monitoring system meets the requirements of the Environmental Management Activities immediately after the renovation. There is a possibility to switch off groups of electricity and to regulate the solar panels if too much electricity is returned to the grid.

Logisticon will send a new update on our major renovation project next month.
