Logisticon supports new Gilde Vakcollege Techniek school building

Logisticon has contributed to the construction of Gilde Vakcollege Techniek's new school building at Grote Haarsekade 123 in Gorinchem. With the symbolic "last stone", the construction phase was festively finished on June 6.

Director Krijn Redert of Gilde Vakcollege Techniek is very pleased with the construction process, which is five weeks ahead of schedule. Henri van Breugel, chairman of the Willem van Oranje Onderwijsgroep, emphasized the significance of the new building for the future of the students during the ceremony.

300 companies, including Logisticon, sponsored bricks with their company names. Jan van Wingerden, board member of Wetech and former student of Gilde Vakcollege, revealed these bricks during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, attendees were given a tour of the building, which is still under construction. The move to the new building is scheduled for January 6, with an official opening in January or February.

Logisticon sees these contributions as a valuable gesture to support the future of engineering.
