At a large chemical cluster in Germany, there are plans to build a new factory. This new factory requires purified surface water. The operator of the park’s utilities, including various water flows, contacted Logisticon. Before a full-scale implementation is realized, the customer would like to test a mobile containerized solution.

The feed water is surface water from the nearby river. The customer has experience with filtering this water using ultrafiltration and wanted to start a pilot program with Logisticon’s containerized installations. For this pilot Logisticon supplied a UF2880, which was installed and commissioned within a week. The pilot runs parallel to the existing water treatment plant and the water produced is used in production.
