Logisticon has built two measuring trailers for RIVM and Deltares, which are designed to measure water quality in agricultural areas. These trailers are used to investigate the dynamics of nutrient and will measure downstream of the surface water in two agricultural areas. Because the equipment is built into a trailer, it is very mobile and can easily be moved to another location.
Logisticon previously built a similar trailer for Rijkswaterstaat. RIVM and Deltares were so enthusiastic about this concept that they started a tender procedure, which eventually resulted in the award in favour of Logisticon. These measuring trailers contain a with a submersible pump that pumps water through the measurement tank. This tank contains several types of measuring equipment such as pH, nitrate, conductivity, turbidity and phosphate. Besides, a sampling cabinet is integrated in the trailer. This cabinet stores the water samples for future laboratory measurements. All measured values are visualized real time on the HMI display for analysis. With the implemented online data connection it is also possible to send the data of the measurement directly towards the costumer. In addition, built-in heating and air conditioning ensures the right conditions for the equipment to function optimally under different environmental circumstances.
Logisticon, RIVM and Deltares are all very satisfied with this successful collaboration.
