In times of environmental and climate change, it is a must to consider the environment and the future of our planet. Questions like "How can we reduce CO2 emissions?” and “How can we optimally reuse materials and products?” are of great relevance.
Logisticon is committed to sustainable entrepreneurship. Customers are supported with sustainable water treatment solutions and Logisticon puts a lot of effort in making its own organization more sustainable. As a result, Logisticon currently generates almost 50% of the energy it consumes via its own solar panels. The remaining purchased electricity originates from Dutch windmills (“Eneco HollandseWind”), which has an ecolabel from “Stichting Milieukeur”, an independent certification body. This ecolabel is very important for Logisticon, because it proves that the electricity is sustainably generated within the Netherlands. The purchase of wind energy from a Dutch wind park is a conscious step forward reducing the CO2 emissions and contributes to a more sustainable energy production in the Netherlands. In 2023, this approach is expected to save 303.055 kg of CO2, which is as much CO2 as 13.775 trees absorb in a year. In addition, Logisticon has already made half of its vehicle fleet more sustainable by replacing petrol and diesel cars with electric cars. Last but not least Logisticon’s facilities have also completely switched off natural gas.
Logisticon is not only focussed on sustainable improvement of their own activities, they also think along for you as a customer. For example, Logisticon examines how customer’s CO2 and methane emissions can be reduced and how installations can be designed to be as energy efficient as possible. Besides, the reduction of chemical consumption is always of great interest. Logisticon offers many of its installations for rent and services its own installations, which results in optimal use of the installation lifetime and therefore the used materials. By renting a water treatment installation from Logisticon, you temporarily have the desired capacity without CAPEX investments while contributing to a circular future.
