In close cooperation with Wairtec, Logisticon Water Treatment supplied a hygienically designed and built softener and reverse osmosis unit with a net capacity of 12 m3/h at a fruit juice processing company.

In addition to a duplex water softener and a reverse osmosis installation, the unit also contains recirculation options, UV disinfection and non-return valves on request. Special attention was paid to the choice of materials and instruments. The piping and pressure vessels are fully equipped in RVS316L (Ra «0,8) with triclamp couplings. Instrumentation is carried out with Varivent®-N connections and in addition hygienic Kieselmann valves and check valves are used in intermediate flange design for easy disassembly and maintenance.

Applications

Hygienically designed ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis installations of Logisticon Water Treatment in various designs are ideal for applications in the production of bottled water, soft drinks, fruit juices, syrups and brewing water. In addition, the installations can also be made suitable for the milk and food industry with various separation techniques for specific types of process water and for example condensate reuse.
