Drinking water assured during expansion drinking water station
Together with her partner, who will build the new drinking water station, Logisticon delivered a cascade of four mobile ultrafiltration (UF) units. Water from Lake Lugano is pumped to a 40m3 buffer, after which it treated by the four containerised ultrafiltration units. Every container is able to produce up to 50 liters of drinking water per second. In total 200 liters per second are produced, which matches the production of the current station. The produced drinking water will be chlorinated in a storage tank before it is being fed to the drinking water system of Lugano.
