Problem
The customer, a Swiss drinking water producer, produced drinking water from surface water through traditional filtration. The installation needed major refurbishment and repair works to ensure long-term production security. During the works production capacity could not be interrupted. A preliminary planning for 48 to 54 months of work was made.
Solution
Four mobile ultrafiltration systems which could produce up to half of the production capacity of the plant (900 m³/h).
Benefits
The planned work duration could be reduced to 24 months which reduced costs heavily
