With a coagulation / flocculation unit, lamella clarifier, sand filtration and active carbon filters, TSS and hydrocarbons could be removed, and discharge limits were reached.
Coagulant and flocculant dosing was controlled by flow and (inlet-outlet) turbidity, using a PLC.
