Problem
At a Dutch food producer of French fries and other potato products, grease from the production site disturbed the biological wastewater treatment which caused problems in the process. Furthermore, the high water temperature (+/- 80 °C) needed to be considered. To be sure of the effectiveness of the offered solution a pilot test was requested.
Solution
Logisticon supplied a flotation unit (DAF). Due to high water temperature an alternative cold-water circuit for “white-water” production was successfully installed.
