Reliable on-site demin water supply for power plant operations

Problem

A utility supplier was awarded a contract to produce and deliver demineralised water directly on the site of a power plant.
To fulfil this contract, a new water treatment installation was required. Logisticon Water Treatment was selected to engineer, design, and build the necessary plant to meet the required water quality and capacity.

Solution

Logisticon Water Treatment delivered a fully redundant, containerized water treatment plant to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of high-purity demineralised water.
The installation consists of a double-pass reverse osmosis (RO) system, followed by an EDI (electrodeionization) polishing unit.

This advanced setup produces demineralised water with an exceptionally high quality, achieving a conductivity of less than 0.1 μS/cm, sodium and potassium levels below 10 ppb, and silica concentrations under 20 ppb.
